|Duties and Responsibilities||
This position will develop, coordinate and supervise the health promotion program within an interdisciplinary Wellness Center to help Loyola students to become aware of, take responsibility for, and make choices that directly contribute to one’s well-being and that of the common good.
|Minimum Education and/or Work Experience||
Master’s degree in public health or related field and at least five years of progressive program development experience required. Advanced degree and/or additional experience may be required for some positions.
Substantial experience implementing and coordinating substance abuse prevention programs in a college environment; working knowledge of the Environmental Management Model of alcohol and drug abuse prevention. Understanding of gender-based violence, including root causes and prevention strategies. Experience evaluating program effectiveness.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all constituents while maintaining sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues. Ability to positively and effectively lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of people. Ability to write and administer grants.
MCHES or CHES certification
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, email and general Internet applications.
